We take you to Boudhanath Stupa , one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where you will be able to observe Buddhist monks praying in the monasteries surrounding the stupa. After Boudhnath Stupa we visit Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here you will be able to see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. We also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square , which is a collection of pagoda and shikhara – style temples grouped around a fifty-five-window palace of brick and wood. Full Day Guided Sightseeing Tour around Patan and Bhaktapur and Hiking on the Telkot-Changu Narayan Trail After breakfast, you will be fetched by the guide at 8:30 in the morning for the tour around the ancient cities of Bhaktapur and Patan. The guide will first take you to the Patan Durbar Square . One of the best attraction here is the ancient royal palace of the Malla Kings of Lalitpur. There are various other temples such as Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, Taleju Bhawani Temple etc. After strolling around Patan, we will head towards Bhaktapur Durbar Sqaure . Bhaktapur was the capital of Nepal during the great Malla Kingdom. Bhaktapur has the best-preserved palace courtyards and old city center in Nepal and is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its rich culture, temples, and wood, metal and stone artworks. Your duffel bag, which should weigh no more than 12.5 kg/27.56 lbs per client, will be carried by the porter throughout the trek.
